THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (1ST UK MONO 'BLACK AND GOLD' - PMC 1202). An original UK mono 'black and gold' copy of Please Please Me. Parlophone PMC 1202 with black and gold labels and Dick James credits for tracks A1, 2, 6, 7, B4 and B6. Labels are bright and clean, only minor spindle wear around the centre holes. XEX 421-1N/ XEX 422-1N stamped matrix. The record is in glossy VG condition, each side displays some surface marks including a couple of hairline but feelable marks. The 1st press front laminated sleeve with right aligned Angus McBean credit is in VG condition. Bright, clean cover. Rear of the sleeve has split/ torn just above the bottom flap and has started to go in the same spot just below the top rear flap too).
