A Regal resonator guitar. No identifiable serial # or identifying marks. With softcase. Owned and played by John Martyn.
Condition Report:
The overall condition of this instrument can be classified as ‘Very Good’. The most notable marking can be seen to the bass side edge of the headstock beside the 6th E tuner where a moderate chip is present, exposing the wood. The rear of the neck shows light indentation to the treble side behind the 9th fret. All aspects of the body show light scratching and indentation, consistent across all surfaces, most notable to the rear face consistent with light play wear or buckle rash.
Originality and Modifications:
No serial number is present on this instrument. The model number would appear to be RD-30T, in a Sunburst finish. This model is still in production, and features a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck and hard rock maple sound well. A 10.5” cone is installed in the body
