An original and rare folded handbill/mini-poster advertising the first of the Sex Pistols legendary performances in Manchester in June / July 1976. This example for the legendary 'I was there' performance on June 4th with organisers Howard Devoto and Pete Shelley of Buzzcocks, perhaps the single greatest impact of any one Sex Pistols performance c 1970s. Voted one of the most important concerts of all time, alongside Woodstock and Live Aid. Although thousands claim to have been at the gig, only a handful of people were actually there.

This is the actual copy of the flyer that was scanned and used on the official ‘Sex Pistols Live 76 Box Set’ sleeve for the Manchester album released in 2016 by Universal Music, and the ‘I Swear I Was There’ live bootleg LP (Goodtimes Music GTM-LP001) released in 2006.
