THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (1ST UK MONO 'BLACK AND GOLD' - PMC 1202). An original UK mono 'black and gold' copy of Please Please Me. Parlophone PMC 1202 with black and gold labels and Dick James credits for tracks A1, 2, 6, 7, B4 and B6. Labels somewhat legible, spindle wear around the centre holes and some of the text has faded. XEX 421-1N/ XEX 422-1N stamped matrix. The record is in G+ condition, each side displays numerous surface marks and some feelable marks. The 1st press front laminated sleeve with right aligned Angus McBean credit is in G+ condition. Cover has some staining at the bottom, back cover has age-related handling/ storage wear and the flaps have some damage/ tearing).
