CLASSICAL - DECCA STEREO 'SXL 6000' SERIES LP COLLECTION. Excellent collection of 12 x UK stereo ('SXL') recordings from the Decca '6000' series. Recordings are issued on the original 'ED2' label in this collection unless stated. Works/cat. numbers are The Weller Quartet - Beethoven/Haydn (SXL 6423 - Ex+/VG), Ion Voicou And Monique Haas - Sonatas By 20th Century Composers (SXL 6351 - Ex, deep groove/VG), Claude/Pierre Monteux - Mozart Flute Concerto (SXL 6112, ED1 deep groove label) then SXL 6115 (deep groove), SXL 6118 (deep groove), SXL 6414, 6436, 64336432, 6343 (deep groove), 6352 and 6411. Please note that all sleeves will contain archival stickers from the BBC. Some of these stickers are 'on top' of the plastic with some 'underneath' (i.e. on the sleeve itself). Some sleeves have been 'laminated' either by way of 'punching' the plastic wallet to two parts of the sleeve or by fully wrapping the plastic to the sleeve. Where sleeves are laminated stickers can be removed with the use of appropriate sticker removal fluids however it is unlikely that stickers can be removed from any sleeves that are not laminated. The sleeves as such in this collection are generally graded as VG with the records often clean Ex to Ex+/archive.
