TOMMY WHITTLE QUINTET - NEW HORIZONS LP (ORIGINAL UK COPY - TEMPO TAP 27). One of the most desirable Tempo releases from the Tommy Whittle Quintet (introducing Harry Klein, Ken Sprang, Jackie Dougan and Eddie Thompson) with their seldom seen 1960 LP New Horizons. The LP (deep grooved labels, TAP 27) is in solid VG condition with some light surface marks to both sides though absolutely no heavier feelable scratches with the playing surfaces still with good lustre. Matrix (machine stamped): VMGT-1622-1B & VMGT-1623-1B. The sleeve is in VG condition with some of the laminate peeling, a section of the reverse bottom flipback tab lifting, with a sticker removal mark to the front and a BBC archive sticker to the reverse (the sleeve is laminated and these can often be removed if desired). Elsewhere without any further rips, tears or seam splits and with the spine 99% legible.
