An very neatly peeled '3rd state' original US copy of the the fab four's ninth studio North American album featuring the most controversial sleeve design of all time! The sleeve is in VG condition. The 'trunk cover' has been peeled away very well with some light 'spot' like marks showing to the otherwise very clear 'butcher' image. With some general edgewear, the seams starting to split and some scuffing on the reverse some of which appears to be covering some writing. '6' next to the RIAA logo on the reverse. Housed with the fragile original press release in excellent condition and also some (photocopy) articles relating to the release.. The record (mono T 2553, G-22/G22 matrix endings) is in glossy VG condition with some light and minor surface marks though nothing heavier. Housed with the original
