LEONARD COHEN - COLUMBIA ACETATE LP RECORDINGS - PARIS OLYMPIA 1972. Fascinating set of 4 x (single sided) LP acetate recordings from Leonard Cohen's wonderful performance at the Olympia in Paris from 1972 which includes previously unheard material. The acetate LPs are US produced by Columbia Recording Studios with hand written information stating: 'Leonard Cohen #1', 'Leonard Cohen Part 1 Tape #3', 'Leonard Cohen Part 2 Tape #3' and 'Leonard Cohen Tape #4'. Tracks are: (Record 1) Bird On A Wire, So Long Marianne, You Know Who I Am, Lady Midnight (VG+ with some light surface marks, no lacquer deterioration), (Record 2) Partisan, Sisters Of Mercy, Jewish Chant, Lady In Blue (VG+ with only a few light and minor marks, some light wear to the edge of the laqcuer), (Record 3) Sing Another Song Boys (titled as 'The Fanny And HIs Mere', That's No Way To Say Goodbye, Suzanne and So Long Marianno (Ex condition with just a few light marks) and (record 4) Story Of Isaac and Famous Blue Raincoat (please note G condition with a number of scuffs and marks, some deterioration to the laquer). Provenance: From the collection of Avril Giacobbi, whose partner Martin Machat was Leonard Cohen's lawyer and business manager at this period.
