DAVID BOWIE - OWNED AND EXTENSIVELY WORN HAT - SIGNED BY BOWIE - 1981 CAPITOL RADIO COMPETITION PRIZE.

A 'Stillenco' fedora hat (size 7 1/8 or 58) owned and extensively worn by David Bowie throughout 1976 and signed to inner lining with inscription by David Bowie 'help a London child please!' and dated 1981. The vendor was the winning bidder for the hat when it was auctioned by Capitol Radio in 1981. The hat was accompanied by a selection of 16 Bowie LPs which are also included here, all discs likely unplayed, some light wear to sleeves. Also with a RCA discography booklet.

Provenance: accompanied by a newspaper clipping from April 30th 1981 which mentions the auction.
