A sailor's cap by 'Christies pty ltd' of Sydney, Australia, worn onstage by David Bowie during his concert at Western Springs, Auckland, New Zealand, 2nd December 1978. Size 6 7/8. Very good condition.

Provenance: the vendor attended the concert and was close by to the security staff, so in a good position to catch the cap when Bowie threw it into the audience. They have had it in their possession ever since. Also included are four modern prints of 8x10" images of Bowie inc one of him during the Auckland concert and wearing the cap.
