RADIOHEAD - ON A FRIDAY - GRIPE TAPE.
A rare demo cassette made by Radiohead as 'On A Friday' circa 1987/88 entitled "Gripe" with Thom Yorke designed inlay card. The cassette contains five tracks with two being bonus extras titled 'Promise Me' and 'These Are The Chains' which were previously unheard and undocumented. The titles of these tracks are handwritten (by Thom Yorke) on the inlay card along with details of recent gigs 'LSE, Bristol Uni, Rock Garden', expenses for those gigs and also an announcement that their 'New Name will be Shindig'. In addition to the 2 bonus tracks are the songs Happy Song, To Be A Brilliant Light and Sinking Ship which are printed on the red inlay card. This cassette was given to the vendor at Exeter University in 1989.
