'How Do You Do It' was initially recorded by th group in September 1962, later to be a #1 hit for Gerry and the Pacemakers. The version on this acetate is identical to the edited and released version. A version of this recording appears on a film made by Dezo Hoffman of The Beatles at Weston-Super-Mare. 'How Do You Do It' was to be the group's debut single but was ultimately passed up in favour of 'Love Me Do'.
