Joseph Kirkpatrick was a landscape painter, watercolourist and engraver. He was born in Liverpool. He exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1898 and 1928 as well as at various other venues. The Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool holds two of his works.
He lived in London for a number of years before he moved to Arundel in Sussex in 1916.
