THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME (MONO 'BLACK AND GOLD' ORIGINAL PMC 1202 - 'STARTER' COPY). A solid 'starter' original 1st UK mono 'black and gold' copy of Please Please Me. The record (PMC 1202, with correct Dick James credits) is in G condition. Noted are a number of surface marks and scuffs with a few feelable scratches. With a sticker removal mark on the side 1 label and a paper tear on the side 2 label. Matrix/mother/stampers: XEX 421-1N 1 O & XEX 422-1N 1 M. The first printing sleeve is in G condition - the front in clean order, the reverse rear flipback tab completely split; however with care this could possibly be restored.
