DAVID BOWIE - HUNKY DORY LP ACETATE (APPLE RECORDS). An Apple Records produced LP acetate pressing of David Bowie's 1971 studio album Hunky Dory. The 11-track LP acetate is in VG condition, each side displays some surface marks and the usual to see acetate age-related storage staining. A professional clean may remove some of this surface dirt. Apple Corps Ltd labels with printed David Bowie Side One Stereo/ David Bowie Side Two Stereo text).

Provenance (from the vendor):

"Back in the early 1970's my parents were good friends with legendary music engineer Ken Scott and his wife Pat. They lived in Crofton Park, One day before they moved to LA, Pat came around as she did for a cuppa with my Mum and mentioned that Ken had been working with a local bloke from Beckenham called David Bowie and presented my her with this studio acetate of Hunky Dory, with the apple label."
