THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (2ND UK BLACK & GOLD MONO COPY - PMC 1202). A collectable second UK 'black & gold' mono pressing of The Beatles debut LP Please Please Me. The record (PMC 1202, 1963 UK mono pressing on Parlophone's striking black and gold labels with Northern Songs credits for tracks A1, 2, B4 and B6 with Dick James Music credits for tracks A6 and A7) is in VG condition showing surface marks to the playing surfaces though no heavier feelable scratches and with the record maintaining a good glossy nature. Labels in clean order with some spindle wear around side 1. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 421-1N 2 GL & XEX 422-1N 12 GM. The first printing (right aligned Angus McBean credit) sleeve is in G+ condition - the front showing some creasing with the reverse showing some tape residue which appear over the flipback tabs (these for the large part aren't split) - with a small section of the bottom right section of the flipback tab missing. Housed with clean original Emitex inner.
