THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (ORIGINAL UK MONO 'BLACK AND GOLD' PRESSING - PMC 1202). Great to see very well presented 1st UK mono 'black and gold' copy of Please Please Me. The record (PMC 1202, with Dick James credits for tracks A1, 2, 6, 7, B4 and 6) is in lovely Ex condition. A top example, there are only a couple of very light and minor surface hairline marks to the playing surfaces, these never at all heavier feelable scratches. Crisp and clean labels with clear ZT tax code to side 1. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 421-1N 1 H & XEX 422-1N 1 H (an extremely early run). The first printing sleeve ('right' aligned Angus McBean credit) is in VG condition showing only minor wear to the front, with some light stain marks to the reverse, a small amount of clear tape repair, and a small section of the bottom right reverse tab torn. Neat condition spine which is fully legible.
