We are excited to offer for auction 1 of only 37 original copies of the 'black & white single sleeve' version of Dark Round The Edges - a phenomenal LP from 1972 often described as a 'Holy Grail' for record collectors. This is 1 of 37 rumoured copies to exist out of a total of 64 housed in a black and white single sleeve. The record is in strong Ex condition, with some faint, non-feelable scuffs/hairlines on the vinyl. The centre label is sharp and clean. Matrix (machine stamped) ADM LP 791 A & ADM LP 791 B with A1 DB and B1 DB etched in the runouts. The hand-made black and white sleeve is in lovely Ex condition with no tears or splits. The pasted image on the reverse of the sleeve has started to slightly come away from the card on the bottom corner but aside from this, both images are clean with little wear. The edges of the sleeve display signs of age-related discolouration and minor wear around the corners. Comes complete with the original 11-page lyric booklet which has minor bending to the pages and wear to the spine but is still fully intact. A truly magnificent example of one of the rarest LPs of all time.
