Another incredible pairing this time to include two single-sided UK test pressings of T.Rex's 1972 Slider LP and a test pressing of their 1972 single Telegram Sam c/w Cadillac & Baby Stance. Marc Bolan has written the track listings and other recording information in orange pen on one side of the plain white sleeve that houses the Slider test pressings. On the other side of the sleeve he has drawn a sketch and included a note to the vendor which reads "For Bob & Family all love MB". Both the outer sleeve and the white inner sleeves that hold the vinyl are date stamped 29 JUN 1972 - the two single sided vinyl records have handwritten labels and are in stunning Ex+ archive condition - matrix numbers read BLN5001 A-2U/B-2U. The Telegram Sam test 7" test pressing has handwritten labels with the catalogue number T.REX101 along with date stamps on the labels and white sleeve reading "21 JAN 1972" - the vinyl (stamped matrix YT-REX 101 A-2U/B-2U) is in excellent condition with a few very light hairlines and minor scuffs. Provenance: Our vendor has been a prominent figure in the music industry from 1970 to the present day presenting music shows both on the radio and TV.
