This example was once the 'resident' guitar at the famous '2'IS' club in London, having been left to the club by famous guitarist Denny Wright. The guitar is sold with a letter of provenance from legendary 'roadie to the stars' James 'Tappy' Wright, who obtained the guitar in the 1960s and subsequently sold it to the current vendor. With hard case. The vendor has supplied an image depicting Tommy Steele holding what they believe is this same guitar c1958 prior to it coming to Tappy Wright. In his letter dated 2002 Tappy Wright describes how this guitar was used as the 'in house' model at the '2 I's' for seven years and that he purchased it directly from Denny Wright in 1964.
