49 HAND SIGNED BEATLES BUSCH STADIUM 1966 PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS.. A group of 49 recent archival 17” x 22” black and white photographic prints printed from the original negative, taken by photographer Tom Morton during The Beatles concert at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 21, 1966. Each print is signed on the bottom right by Morton, dated “’66.” The images include The Beatles performing, them walking backstage, and fans waiting. This collection of previously unpublished images was taken by photographer Tom Morton, who is a local freelance photographer in 1960’s St. Louis. The negatives for these images had been stored in his basement for 50 years until recently discovered in their original sleeves, having been preserved perfectly over the last half-century. This lot is for the entire set of 49 prints, all measuring 17” x 22”, ready to be framed and displayed.
