A stunning archive of images of The Beatles, many previously unseen, all taken by Alan Holmes of Sounds Incorporated/Inc whilst on tour c 1964/1965. Includes approx 38 original prints (mostly 13 x 8.5cm) from approx 296 negatives which give a sense of the excellent quality of the images included here, the vast majority of which are competently framed, composed and lit. Subjects, scenes, locations inc: the Beatles final 1965 US tour (stadiums, fans, on stage shots), shots of the Ed Sullivan Show filming and of the press conferences, also shots showing Ringo Starr with members of Sounds Inc in Hamburg c 1961/62 (no negative for shot of Ringo in Hamburg so no copyright for this image as we are not sure if Alan took this).
