This was the other hip club in Manchester. Specialised in Rhino nights and some really wacky gigs. This was a great gig. The Pop Group were exceptional that night. Phil Diggle famously covered Barney’s pants in paint at an experimental art installation at The Hacienda and the night ended with them screaming at each other about who was going to pay for the pants. I like Phil.
