THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (1ST UK BLACK AND GOLD - PMC 1202). A solid condition 1st UK mono black and gold pressing of Please Please Me. With correct Dick James credits. The record (Parlophone's striking black and gold design label, PMC 1202) is in VG condition showing some surface marks though no heavier feelable scratches. Some light wear to side 1 label, side 2 label in clean order. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 421-1N 1 O & XEX 422-1N 1 M. The first printing (right aligned Angus McBean credit) sleeve is in VG+ condition - the front lovely bright and sharp, the reverse in neat order, with some wear to the flipback tab which appears to have been repaired at some stage.
