PETE LA ROCA - BASRA LP (ORIGINAL US MONO PRESSING - BLUE NOTE BLP 4205). A well presented 1st US mono release of the LP that Ira Gitler is '... A demonstration of how to do new things in jazz without losing sight of the music's entire tradition and spirit.' The record (New York USA address, 'VAN GELDER' machine stamped and Plastylite 'p') is in clean Ex condition with a couple of light and minor surface marks, these not at all heavier. The sleeve (original '43 West 61st St') is in solid VG condition with some wear around the edges and some foxing/ringwear on the reverse.
