THE SMITHS - CASSETTE WITH JOHN PORTER VERSION OF 'ASK'.

A TDK AD46 cassette tape with contents to include: Unloveable / Panic / Sandie Shaw track / Track by unknown band / Ask / Golden Lights - recordings are over two sides - 'Unloveable' and 'Panic' are the standard single releases. The Sandie Shaw track is presumably from her 1988 Rough Trade recordings. The first track on side two is by an unknown band. 'Ask' is the stand-out track as it is in all likelihood the John Porter version as described in Simon Goddard's book 'Songs That Saved Your Life'. Tape also has the single version of 'Ask'. 'Golden Lights' sounds like an early mix.
