Extremely scarce original stereo recording 2 x LP set of Sir John Barbirolli with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra performing Mahler - Symphony No. 9. Released on the semi-circle 'nipper' HMV label (ASD 596/597, single-sided). The records are both in superlative Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely minor, faint, slight and wispy paper marks to the extremely clean playing surfaces and with super sharp and clean labels. The sleeves are both in Ex condition with a little laminate wear and some rather minor foxing.
