BLACK SABBATH - MASTER OF REALITY LP (ORIGINAL UK COPY COMPLETE WITH POSTER - VERTIGO 6360 050)

BLACK SABBATH - MASTER OF REALITY LP (ORIGINAL UK COPY COMPLETE WITH POSTER - VERTIGO 6360 050). Fantastic to see lovely complete example of the iconic 1971 LP from Black Sabbath. The record is in superlative Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely faint, slight and wispy paper marks to the super clean playing surfaces. With few spindle marks showing it is apparent that this copy has been played sparingly. Matrix/runout: 6360 050 1Y//1 ∇ 420 1 1 1 4 & 6360 050 2Y//1 ∇ 420 1 2 2 1. Complete with the usually missing(!) original poster, this original example presented in superb Ex+ condition; Housed with clean original British Patent swirl inner (correct for this release). The embossed envelope sleeve is in extremely sharp Ex condition showing only some very minor creasing to the laminate. Absolutely no need to upgrade this copy.

"I love this album and its packaging. Every time I come across one in the wild I always check to see if it has the poster in it. None ever do.

Even at the time very few contained it. Mine does. I saw Black Sabbath at the Albert Hall during the 3 day week. Back then you had to consult the evening papers to see if your area would be having a planned power cut that night. We checked whether Knightsbridge was OK and the news said it would be OK. Five minutes after the Sabs came onstage - boom boom, out went the lights and off went the sound. Powerless, pitch black Albert Hall. There was some confusion and nobody knew what to do. The band went off and then about quarter of an hour later came back on holding torches and hurricane lamps. They sat on the edge of the stage and played acoustic guitars. After about ten minutes the power was restored and the gig went ahead as noisily as usual. I think only those of us there that night can ever claim to have seen Black Sabbath playing unplugged."
