THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (1ST UK MONO 'BLACK AND GOLD' - PMC 1202. A solid 1st UK mono 'black and gold' copy of the fabled debut LP from The Beatles. The record (Dick James credits for tracks A1, 2, 4, 6, 7, B4 and B6.) is in very neat VG condition. Both playing sides lovely and glossy, there are just some light surface marks noted, these not heavier with absolutely no heavier scratches. With stunning clean labels. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 421-1N 2 GM & XEX 422-1N 1 GA. The first printing 'right-aligned Angus McBean credit' is in solid VG condition, The front nice and clean, the reverse shows some light discolouration/foxing, a small sticker on the top right, blue pen marks next to the track listing and a small section of the bottom right flipback tab lifting (an easy repair).
