THE IVEYS (BADFINGER) - MAGIC CHRISTIAN MUSIC LP - ORIGINAL APPLE ACETATE RECORDING
THE IVEYS (BADFINGER) - MAGIC CHRISTIAN MUSIC LP - ORIGINAL APPLE ACETATE RECORDING. A remarkable piece of Badfinger history with this original UK Apple acetate (double sided) LP recording of Magic Christian Music. Produced extremely early with the band still being known as The Iveys at the time of the recording, the Custom Recording Apple '3 Savile Row' labels contain the track listing on both sides with 'The Iveys Side One Stereo' 'The Iveys Side Two Stereo' printed on each label respectively. Interesting to note the track listing to the acetate is different from the final commercial released version. The acetate is in sharp VG+ condition showing only a few rather light and minor surface marks to the playing surfaces, and with no deterioration to the lacquer. With a couple of small 'chips' on the edge of the acetate (not into the playing surfaces). With sharp, crisp and clean labels.
