THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME 7" - ORIGINAL UK DEMO (PARLOPHONE 45-R 4983). Rather special to see wonderful condition original UK 7" demo of the fab four's second studio single Please Please Me c/w Ask Me Why. The record (Parlophone red 'A' labels, 45-R 4983, serrated rim around the labels) is in superlative Ex+ condition. A stunning example, there are only a couple of extremely faint, slight and wispy paper hairline marks to the playing surfaces which are incredibly clean. With very sharp, bright, clean and crisp labels (MT tax code on B side). Matrix/mother stampers: 7XCE 17217-1N MPT 2 (9 o clock) O (3 o clock) & 7XCE 17218-1N MPT 2 (9 o clock) G G (3 o clock). Housed with very clean original 'Special Rush Copy' promo sleeve.
