Barney and I were asked to contribute to a song on her LP. I worked on it for days, then twice in the studio with her producer, before finally finishing it off at Moolah Rouge in Stockport. Barney did a backing vocal on the track... he sang it once and turned around and said, “I don’t like it!” and left. Guess which one they used? $20k for thirty seconds!
