THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (2ND UK MONO 'BLACK AND GOLD' WITH 1ST PRESSING SLEEVE - PMC 1202. A solid example 2nd UK mono 'black and gold' copy of the fabled debut LP from The Beatles. The record (2nd 'black and gold' Parlophone label pressing now with Northern Songs credits) is in G+ condition. The majority of the record contains only some light surface marks, however there is a light scratch that runs with the groove at the start of side 2 - this causes a small skip and some 'interference' like surface noise for a few rotations. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 421-1N 1 GP & XEX 422-1N 12 GH. The 1st pressing ('right' aligned Angus McBean credit) sleeve is in very smart VG+ condition. There are some light creases to the laminate though these are not extensive at all with the general 'feel' of the sleeve very strong with the flipback design nice and clean.
