BUDDY HOLLY'S HANDWRITTEN HOMEWORK 1952.

An incredible two-part framed display, with one frame displaying two pages of lined paper containing Buddy Holly's handwritten notes / homework for a 'Biology 2' class at Lubbock night school, dated October 16th 1952 and with a signature by Buddy included on each page. Also included in this display are original press photographs and other contemporary prints for display purposes, this frame measures 52 x 96cm. The second frame contains three original press photographs, with detailed inscriptions to the reverse of each photograph visible through the double sided frame. The inscriptions on the photographs include signatures from Buddy's parents, and a note to 'one of Buddy's greatest friends Phil' - the likely original recipient from Buddy's parents of all of the items included across the displays. The photos are dated though year is not visible through current framing.

Provenance: From the estate of Nigel Grainge who owned and ran Ensign Records during a long and successful music industry career.
