THE BEATLES - A RARE 1963 POSTER FOR BUXTON PAVILION GARDENS.
A rare and original concert poster advertising The Beatles plus The Deltones and Derrick and The Falcons at Buxton's Pavillion Ballroom on Saturday, 19th October 1963. Famous photographs from this concert document the 'Beatlemania' effect, with fainting fans being carried out of the venue whilst the band performed.
The poster measures 20 x 30" and has been folded. Shows losses, tape to corners where has been previously displayed, some staining. Poster is otherwise intact without many paper losses to main body.
Provenance: following the sale of a similar poster from the concert in our sale of 11th October 2022, a vendor, based in the Buxton area, contacted us with this example. They (the vendor) attended the concert and obtained this poster at the time.
