MARK E. SMITH / THE FALL - MARK'S SCHOOLBOOK.

A schoolbook for Stand Grammar School, Whitefield, used by Mark E. Smith for his English literature homework during his time in form 5E, likely c 1972. Plenty of copy in the book including Mark's examination of 'The Case For The Miners' by Siegfried Sassoon, a piece titled 'To choose three poems for their atmosphere, to describe atmosphere and how it is created'. Also with lists of music / LPs clearly important to Mark inc VDGG, Can, Elvis, Beethoven, Hendrix and also (important to Mark) football results seemingly from the 1974 World Cup in the back of the book. Some loose pages, measures 17.5 x 23cm.
