I had to take a job in the Hacienda... a tenner a night doing backstage security... I was skint. What a job though, I got to see so many great bands close up from the stage and taking my trusty cassette recorder with me was able to document a lot of them. I gave most away over the years, but I saw some great performances first hand and got to partake in a lot of the after show shenanigans too.
