A fantastic clean original UK copy (self-released on Enigma Records PSS 139) of Joy Division's elusive debut release, An Ideal For Living. This is the first pressing with serrated rim and matrix/runout PSS 139 EP A1 EG & PSS 139 EP B1 EG. The record is in super Ex condition, showing only a couple of light and minor surface hairline marks to the playing surfaces and some hazing on side 1. The labels are clean and sharp showing some rather light spindle marks around the centre holes. The original four-panel sleeve is in stunning stong Ex condition. There is very little wear throughout with none of the usual creasing on the 'joining' edges. There is also very little discolouration to the 'white' colour with this copy appearing to have only been handled sparingly over its 43-year existence... A smashing copy of the EP that 'wasn't a concept but an enigma'.
