MAX BRUCH (1838-1920).

A German postcard dated 1897 bearing one side of handwriting and a signature by conductor Max Bruch. Very good condition. Letter is to violinist Joseph Joachim and relates to a meeting Bruch had with a young performer.

Provenance: from an astonishing collection of classical music ephemera which includes autographs from many of the 20th century's most renowned conductors and composers. Collected over many years by a former orchestral manager of Liverpool Philharmonic.
