An incredible piece of punk history here, with excellent provenance. A hand-painted concert poster, advertising Sham 69's first concert (following the change of name) on Saturday March 20th, 1976 at the Walton Odeon, London. The concert took place (largely to a likely very bemused pre-teen audience) as part of the 'Super Saturday Show' at the local cinema, at the unlikely hour of 9.30am. The poster shows age wear and some losses and is currently behind protective perspex. Measures approx 50 x 75cm. Consigned by a member of the group's early line up.
