42 x 2x2" colour Kodachrome slides, all of images by 'Charlotte News' writer and Hollywood buff Charles Emory Wister (1914-2007) c 1950s and 1960s. The images depict stars such as: Richard Boone, Ros Russell, Frankie Avalon, Dean Martin, Janet Leigh, John Wayne, Dennis Weaver, Gene Austin and more.
On his death in 2007 Mr. Wister passed the collection of slides to the vendor and all are now offered here with full copyright and right to reproduce. Digital copies will also be provide to the winning bidder. A viewing of the full set of slides at the auction house is available to prospective bidders.
