THE BEATLES - YESTERDAY AND TODAY 'BUTCHER COVER' (ORIGINAL US 3RD STATE MONO COPY - T 2553). An exceptionally well peeled original US mono 3rd state copy of the infamous 'butcher cover' of Yesterday And Today. The sleeve is graded in VG+ condition. The front image is in superlatively clean condition showing little evidence to tell that this once had another slick pasted over the butcher image.The reverse of the sleeve displays some age-related handling wear. '6' next to the RIAA logo. The original mono LP (Capitol 'rainbow label T-2553 with G-22/F-17 matrix endings) is in VG condition showing some surface marks. Complete with original Capitol '66 Sounds company inner and facsimile letters sent out by Ron Tepper from Capitol explaining the recall.
