A vintage postcard depicting the home of Richard Strauss in Garmisch, bearing handwriting, a date (1939) and signature by Richard Strauss. Measures 13.5 x 8.5cm. With a modern print depicting the image from the postcard.

Provenance: from an astonishing collection of classical music ephemera which includes autographs from many of the 20th century's most renowned conductors and composers. Collected over many years by a former orchestral manager of Liverpool Philharmonic.
