JOHN LENNON - ORIGINAL C 1950 PRIMARY SCHOOL PHOTO.
An original photograph (28x16cm) depicting the 41boys of class C1 of Dovedale Rd School, Liverpool, July 1950. In the back row, fifth from left stands a nine-year-old John Lennon. All of the pupils are listed to the reverse of the photo along with name of teacher, a Mr. Harry Holmes, who originally owned this photograph before passing it on to the current owner. Also included is correspondence from various former pupils including, notably, Peter Sissons, as well as newspaper cuttings relating to a young John Lennon and a copied version of the photo. The original photo shows age wear, losses, tape repairs, creasing etc.
