A one page handwritten letter dated Nov 19th 1956 with a signature by composer Ernest Bloch. Approx 18 x 25cm. Good condition. The note mentions Bloch's regrets that he cannot send a more recent picture to the enquiring fan.

Provenance: from an astonishing collection of classical music ephemera which includes autographs from many of the 20th century's most renowned conductors and composers. Collected over many years by a former orchestral manager of Liverpool Philharmonic.
