FAC1 - 1978 - PETER SAVILLE - AN ORIGINAL LISTINGS POSTER FOR THE FACTORY AT THE RUSSEL CLUB.

A fine example of one of the more important posters of the 20th C. A listings poster for concerts at the Factory (then at the Russell Club, Moss Side) in June 1978, designer Peter Savile famously delivered this after the first event had taken place. FAC1 / Use Hearing Protection. Concerts included Joy Division, Durutti Column, Cabaret Voltaire. Measures 73.5 x 99cm. Has been backed to thin board. Provenance: inherited by the vendor from a family member with connections to the Manchester music scene.
