Collection of vinyl, books and live recordings to include 3 cassettes from 1981/1982 featuring the Birthday Party at The Hacienda and Rafters (plus Factory artists Stockholm Monsters and Tunnel Vision), Nick Cave - King Ink book, 3 x Birthday Party 7" singles and 2 x LPs (Junk Yard & Prayers on Fire) plus Nick Cave - And The Ass Saw The Angel book.
One of my favourite bands ever. I loved Tracey Pew, what a lovely fella! They were fantastic at The Hacienda. I was working doing security and was right at the front of the stage when someone rolled a dimple pint pot onto the stage and Nick just clenched his fist and punched it to smithereens. We had a lovely sojourn with them at a festival, the first-ever in Athens, Greece. Here’s a tip for you... don’t listen to his new album ‘Ghosteen’ while your doing the notes for your memorabilia auction... it makes you very melancholy ;)
