A vintage German postcard (8.3 x 13.2cm) depicting Richard Strauss, signed to lower border in black ink by Strauss. Postcard has been previously backed or pasted into a book and removed and shows paper losses to reverse.

Provenance: from an astonishing collection of classical music ephemera which includes autographs from many of the 20th century's most renowned conductors and composers. Collected over many years by a former orchestral manager of Liverpool Philharmonic.
