A reel of 1/4" audiotape in an Ampex box containing a possibly lost / unreleased interview with Joe Strummer of the Clash on Glasgow's Radio Clyde on 18th December 1980, the release date of 'Sandinista'. The tapes are of excellent quality and feature Joe Strummer speaking candidly with host Billy Sloan about:
- The origins of the 'Sandinista' name
- The process of recording the album
- Dealings with record labels.
- The death of John Lennon
- Politics - development in London, the threat posed by the National Front
Approximately 21 minutes of recording.
