DAVID BOWIE - LONDON BYE TA TA/ ANGEL ANGEL GRUBBY FACE 7" ACETATE (EMIDISC). A scarce 1968 7" acetate by British rock icon David Bowie. The Emidisc acetate features 1968 recorded tracks London Bye Ta-Ta/ Angel Angel Grubby Face. Neither track was released at the time, both later appearing on the 2019 comprehensive set 'Spying Through A Keyhole'. London Bye Ta-Ta is the original demo recorded, not the later 1970 re-recording that featured Marc Bolan on guitar. Angel Angel was one of the songs in contention for Bowie’s proposed second Deram album, which was never recorded. The Emidisc acetate labels are bright and legible with stamped artist/ track information. The lacquer playing surface is in G+ condition, each side displays numerous light surface marks, and a couple of hairline/ feelable marks. No deterioration to the lacquer, displays a couple of chips to the edge of the record.
